Australians are changing the way they think about meat, and we know that many people today are choosing to get their protein from plants. In fact, there are many popular whole food sources of protein that most people probably already enjoy, even if they aren’t vegan!

We commonly refer to meat as ‘proteins’ when it comes to cooking, and while they certainly do contain protein, they aren’t the only source. From nuts and seeds, to beans, lentils, quinoa and other grains, and even many vegetables like broccoli, plant-based protein is everywhere.

We love our whole foods and at PlantAsia we believe a balanced diet is absolutely essential. However, we wanted to make plant-based foods more enjoyable, and more easily accessible for everyone, and we were inspired by Malaysia’s unique food fusions.

We wanted to be able to enjoy the rich, aromatic flavours of Asia – all from the comfort of our own kitchens. We created our vegan-friendly Roast Duck, Roast Pork and Roast Chicken to make it easier for you to savour your favourite Asian-inspired meals.

This protein-rich range is made primarily from seitan, a plant-based mock meat created with vital wheat gluten, and a few secret blends of herbs and spices for that authentic flavour and mouthfeel.

Roast Duck

Our plant-based Roast Duck is a bit of a crowd favourite in the Aussie vegan community, and for good reason. All you need to do is pan fry it in a bit of oil until the ‘skin’ crisps up – yep, just like the real thing!

Roast Pork

Sweet and succulent, our plant-based Roast Pork is all you need and more for the mouthwatering Asian-inspired meals of your dreams.

Marinade it in your sauce of choice (we like char siu sauce!) and pan fry or grill it until the sauce caramelises for that tasty charred flavour you know and love. Serve it in a steamed bao or on top of some rice for the ultimate feast.

Roast Chicken

Our tender plant-based Roast Chicken cooks, tastes and smells just like the real thing, making it incredibly versatile. Just like our other products, our Roast Chicken is made with seitan, and is lightly seasoned to perfection.
