About PlantAsia

PlantAsia is inspired by Malaysia’s unique food fusions. Malaysia is a diverse country with a rich past, and it’s been described by historians as ‘Asia in miniature.’ Today, people from many different nationalities call Malaysia home. The country offers a dazzling blend of cultures, celebrations and cuisines.

We visited the traditional marketplaces of Kuala Lumpur, and were inspired by the flavours and sensations of authentic Malaysian street food.

Our masterstroke was bringing home plant-based proteins that recreate the rich, aromatic flavours of Asia – all from the comfort of your own kitchen. Whether it’s Peking duck, barbeque pork or orange chicken – cooking with PlantAsia makes it easy to savour your favourite Asian inspired meals.

Just combine PlantAsia with fresh ingredients, to enjoy a mouth-watering meal made your way.

What does veganism mean to us?

At its heart, veganism is a harm reduction model. People who maintain a vegan lifestyle seek to eliminate, as far as practical, all forms of animal cruelty or exploitation. Vegans can eat a wholesome and abundant plant-based diet – enjoying plenty of fruits, vegetables, nuts, gains, seeds, beans and pulses.

Thanks to some very clever chefs and their culinary innovation, plant-based proteins are also becoming a rapid area of growth and popularity. Today, vegans can enjoy plant-based burgers, sausages, pies, meat loafs and an ever-expanding range of proteins that are inspired by traditional recipes and flavours. Here’s the best part though: Vegan food isn’t just for vegans.

At PlantAsia, we believe that easy access to tasty vegan food can empower all of us to make more sustainable choices every day. Our products are not made exclusively for vegans – instead, we seek to support anyone who wants to eat a little less meat and simply add more plant-based foods into their weekly diet.

Every time you choose to eat a vegan meal, you’re benefiting the planet and our animal friends, and we believe that means everyone can make a difference. Our ethos is one of inclusivity – not exclusivity.

You don’t need to be a veteran vegan to enjoy PlantAsia, because it’s based on the flavours that we all know and love. Give our meat-free Roast Duck, Roast Pork or Roast Chicken a try today!
